This is my first time getting the Areti from Elysian Paper, but not my first cover from Evangelia. I have many of her covers and I love them! This time around I was looking for a smooth leather (I have this thing about texture) and Evangelia delivered! This Areti is in Espresso with Petra's Pockets inside. I can't stop looking at it and touching it. I didn't even know I liked brown leather until the Espresso was in my hands.
Currently I have my A6 Sterling Ink Horizontal Full Year planner inside and this little cover goes with me everywhere. From room to room at home, to the grocery store, on car rides. I love this planner. I love the elastic closure. I just love everything about it and I couldn't be more happy with it!
The "Areti" is brilliant, because I absolutely love the flexibility of changing the cover design. The leather feels kind of rustic, soft but is enough sturdy. The hardest part was to decide on the color, because they have so many beautiful shades. All in all, I'm absolutly happy.

I ordered the Areti cover in Cognac leather. The craftsmanship and leather are beautiful! The stitching is perfectly done, and I love being able to put a photo in the front of the book!

I own a worrisome amount of leather covers from different makers all over the globe. A lot of them are beautiful, some of them are stunning, but from time to time, on very rare occasion, I stumble upon a true artist, which I define as someone who is naturally gifted but far more important spends thousands and thousands of hours working on their craft, chipping away and striving for excellence. Those are people who have a rock-solid foundation and always base their work on it- rain or shine. This is Evangelia.
She is someone who lives and breathes her craftmanship. Her attention to detail, regarding the whole process from beginning to end is unique.
The leather itself feels and smells rich like a nature walk, surrounded by a stitching pattern which is not only build to last but will make you swoon. I’ve chosen the Areti Cover because I was intrigued by the possibility to put a dashboard in the front of the cover which not only allows you to completely change the appearance of the cover, but is also a great opportunity to create something for yourself.
For extra storage I’ve asked to create a card slot on the first interior pocket in the back. The fact that you can combine different styles or even ask about a specific pocket combination creates endless possibilities. One word of wisdom: trust her opinion about measurements, especially, when you want to put a larger amount of notebooks inside your cover.
