I never thought a little notebook could bring me so much joy until now. Waiting for my custom Elysian Paper notebook to arrive made me feel like a little kid waiting on Christmas Eve to finally open presents. It was worth the wait.
An Elysian Paper creation is not just a notebook but a genuine work of art. Every time I look at this notebook, it reminds me of Alishan, which is my favorite place that I’ve travelled to. The Atlantic blue pocket looks just like the blue mountain valleys in Alishan and the limone yellow main cover is the misty gold sunrise you can see during early mornings in autumn and winter. I included a photo so you can see the resemblance =).
Evangelia and her team were also so kind, patient, and fast with answering my questions and offering color suggestions throughout the entire process. It was very cute that they shared a TikTok video of Evangelia’s daughter? niece? staff friend? doing a very thoughtful and thorough quality check. It feels extra sweet and personable knowing there are human hands gently and lovingly crafting each piece.
So to Evangelia and team, thank you so much for making my first custom leather journal experience such a beautiful and magical one! I will cherish this notebook for years to come, and definitely be back to order more.
